"Chorale" begins with a solemn, rubato chorale section (surprising, I know) that is played by the saxophone section, rhythm section, and then the whole band, before transitioning into a lengthy tenor saxophone solo written originally for my good friend, Chicago saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi.
Difficulty Level: Grade 5 (Difficult High School/Medium College)
Instrumentation: Standard, with doubles of flute and clarinet on Alto 1 and Alto 2, respectively
