The debut album of the Paul Dietrich Jazz Ensemble, Forward was released in 2019 and features eight original jazz ensemble compositions. Guest artist on the album is drummer Clarence Penn, who is most well known for his work with the Maria Schneider Orchestra and Dave Douglas. The excellent band features many of the best jazz musicians in the Midwest. The full album is available for purchase on bandcamp.
